The WellVet Weekend is a not for profit social enterprise organised by Vetsnet and VetLed. Brought together by their passion for improving the wellbeing of veterinary professionals, Vetsnet and VetLed are driven to make a positive difference to the lives of the whole veterinary team.
Liz Barton, WellVet co-founder said:
“WellVet was created to improve the wellbeing of mind, body and soul for everyone working in veterinary practice. We are committed to working with companies and organisations whose core values fit with our founding principles, and the VetCT team understand first-hand the challenges of working in practice and the need to support one another.
We are excited to be working with the VetCT team, who are sponsoring this year’s WellVet weekend Mindful stream, and investing their expertise and time in helping us promote and develop WellVet to reach as many people as possible".
Stijn Niessen and Yaiza Forcada, who lead the VetCT Telemedicine Hospital, are thrilled to partner up with WellVet Weekend.
"This unique new service has been developed to create a super-supportive environment through providing instant specialist support and advice to vets anywhere in the world. We know life in practice can be tough and the aim of the VetCT Telemedicine Hospital is to reduce stress levels, increase professional fulfilment and improve the wellbeing of busy vets in practice."
Over the course of 2019, VetCT will be aiming to raise both awareness and money for such a worthwhile social enterprise.
