Amy earned her DVM from the The Ohio State University. After a general small animal rotating internship at Oradell Animal Hospital in Northern New Jersey, she completed a surgical internship at VCA Veterinary Specialists of Northern Colorado and a Canine Orthopaedic Research Fellowship at Ohio State. In 2006, Amy began working as a Staff Emergency Doctor for BluePearl Veterinary Partners, initially in Florida and then in NYC. In 2014 she returned to the Midwest to complete a four-year Radiology Residency at the University of Missouri- Columbia.

During her residency Amy pursued interests in PET/CT and Cardiac MRI. Passionate about education, she has been teaching students, interns, and residents since 2006. In 2016, she became the USA organizer for MRI In Practice- The Course, in an effort to make it more accessible to residents in North America. She continues her involvement with the PET/CT program at Missouri while training residents in the modality.

Enjoying the collaborative nature and progressive culture of VetCT, Amy is excited to create and curate resources for residents in this dynamic field.
